Jerlilia was raised in the inner city of Los Angeles, when after graduating from High School, Jerlilia moved to San Diego to attend the University of California, San Diego. There, she received a B.A. in Sociology, went on from there to raised three children as a single mother and started several successful small businesses. She made a promise to herself that when her youngest child turn 18, she will return back to School to earn her MBA and a Law Degree, in which she did. When Jerlilia is not working in her small business, she enjoys riding her bikes, and spending time with her children and granddaughter. As a small business owner, Jerlilia works with her local community committees to help move her community progressively forward by investing in environmental protection, and supporting social justice and equity issues.
